A fracas occurred at Montreal, on the 6th November, between the young men styling themselves "Sons of Liberty," (les fils de la liberte) and the Constitutionalists.
1904
Combat broke out in the streets on the seventh of the month between the Constitutionals of the Doric Club and the Fils de la Liberté, followed by the sacking of the office of the Vindicator, and an attack on the residence of Papineau.
